Christopher Charles completed a BA Hons degree in Theatre Design at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, UK, in 1987. Working for a diverse range of companies during the early nineties, in 1995 regular work commenced with Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company as their Production Manager.

In 2001, he started touring with Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, initially on the children's project - digit01. Since becoming Technical Director in 2005, he has taken Wayne McGregor's productions to some of the leading theatres in the world.
