As a Senior Research Fellow at Coventry University, Scott deLahunta (PhD) continues his research collaboration with Wayne McGregor which began in 2000 when deLahunta was an Associate Research Fellow with Dartington College of Arts 2000-2009. Their early work was on a project-to-project basis including Software for Dancers 2001, Choreography and Cognition 2002-2004 and ENTITY 2006-2008; until R-Research was established in early 2009. deLahunta is also currently the Project Leader for Motion Bank, a new four-year project of The Forsythe Company providing a broad context for research into choreographic practice. From 2006-2010, deLahunta was Research Fellow with the Art Theory and Research and Art Practice and Development Research Group, Amsterdam School for the Arts, where he worked closely with the dance company Emio Greco|PC and became Research Co-Director, with Bertha Bermudez, of the two-year project Inside Movement Knowledge. He has worked in an advisory capacity on a range of related projects including Siobhan Davies Replay. He is currently an Affiliated Researcher with Crucible (Cambridge University Network for Interdisciplinary Research) and serves on the editorial boards of Performance Research, Dance Theatre Journal and the International Journal of Performance and Digital Media.
