Nicki de Leon graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1997 with a BSc (hons) and from UCL in 2002 with an MSc both in Physiotherapy. Nicki has 12 years experience in private practice and has treated elite sportsmen and women and was the official Physio for the British Paralympic Swimming team at the Athens Paralympics in 2004. Such is Nicki’s experience, she has on several occasions been a consultant to the BBC and SKY News where she has conducted live interviews as an ‘expert advisor’.

Nicki has worked with the dancers at Random since Ataxia in 2004 as the Consultant Physiotherapist. This involves conducting screenings for all the dancers to highlight any potential injuries and work with them in the prevention of injuries through personal exercise plans. In the unfortunate event of an injury, Nicki provides advice and treatment in order to keep them dancing.
