Rebecca Marshall grew up in Botswana, Africa and Greece, moving to the United States to attend University. She graduated in 1990 from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a distinction in her major, Economics, and a minor in Dance. Rebecca worked as a freelance dancer and arts manager in Boston and San Francisco for a variety of companies, including Prometheus Dance, Island Moving Company, ODC/San Francisco, Cathy Pruzan and LINES Contemporary Ballet. In 1999 she moved to London, where she immediately joined Wayne McGregor and Random Dance as General Manager, becoming Executive Producer in 2001 when the position was created as the scope of the work of the company grew. Rebecca joined the Board of Trustees of Dance UK as Vice Chair in 2006.
