Hazel Singleton graduated with a BA Hons degree in dance from Surrey University in 1997. Her career in dance spans 11 years where she has worked in both the private and public sectors, as well as artist and company management. Her early roles included working in the education and training department of the ISTD Dance Examinations Board and tour administration for Vincent Dance Theatre, Protein Dance and Colin Poole. She joined Wayne McGregor | Random Dance in 2001 managing the administration of the company's tour of digit01, McGregor's first work for children. Since then she has worked across many elements of the company's work including administration, education and fundraising. She was appointed General Manager in 2003 and then Administrative Director in 2007.
