Ursula Bombshell - Costume Design
Ursula Bombshell studied Fashion design - B.A. (Hons) at St. Martin's School of Art in London. She then went on to spend 3 years in Paris working as a fashion designer before returning to London to set up her own clothing label designing small and exclusive collections for designer boutiques.
During this time she began to diversify and started designing for contemporary dance with commissions from Javier de Frutos, Shobana Jeyasingh, Ricochet, and Mark Baldwin. She has been working on dance productions with SJDC for more than ten years including Transtep and Flicker. Other commissions include Miniatora for Candoco Dance Company.
Her work with Wayne McGregor includes designing the costumes for: PreSentient - Rambert Dance Company, Alpha, Polar Sequences and AtaXia for Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, The Millenarium for ABC Dance, Austria, 2Human for English National Ballet, Nautilus and Eden| Eden for Stuttgart Ballet, Engram for The Royal Ballet and Tremor, a piece for Channel 4's Dance for Camera directed by Ravi Deepres for Wayne McGregor | Random Dance.
