Three new award nominations for Wayne McGregor
Genus for the Paris Opera Ballet and the musical Kirikou & Karaba that Wayne directed have been nominated for a Globe de Cristal. Also, Limen for The Royal Ballet has been nominated for a South Bank Show award.

UK Release date set for Fred Wiseman's La Danse
A UK release, of April 23rd, has been set for the new film from acclaimed documentary-filmmaker Fred Wiseman, La Danse. The film features Wayne at work with the Paris Opera.

Wayne McGregor receives award for Excellence in International Dance by the International Theatre Institute
Wayne was presented the award in recognition of his work as artistic director of Wayne McGregor | Random Dance and for his role as resident choreographer of the Royal Ballet.

Wayne's new work with The Australian Ballet, titled Dyad 1929, opened in Melbourne on the 21st of August. The piece is part of the Concord season.

Wayne McGregor wins Benois de la Danse
Wayne McGregor has won the prestigious Benois de la Danse, otherwise known as the Oscar of Dance; he received Best Choreography for his production of Infra for The Royal Ballet. The awards were announced in Moscow on June 4th.
