Directed by Garth Jennings, and choreographed by Wayne McGregor, Radiohead’s ‘Lotus Flower’ has been nominated in the Best Short Form Music Video category of the 2011 Grammys. The video has received over 14 million hits.

The Bolshoi Ballet's production of Chroma - originally created for The Royal Ballet in 2006 - has received 3 Golden Mask nominations (Russia's 'Oscars'). The production has received nods in the following categories: Best Ballet; Best Conductor – Igor Dronov; Best Actress – Leading dancer Svetlana Lunkina.
The Golden Mask Awards will take place on April 15th, 2012, at the Bolshoi Theatre.
Chroma has also received attention in the Isadora Duncan Dance Award nominations; Antoine Vereecken's restaging of the work on the San Franciso Ballet has been recognised in Best Restaging category.
Alexander Whitley nominated for a Critics Circle award
Wayne McGregor | Random Dance dancer Alexander Whitley has been nominated for a Critics' Circle Dance Award in the category of Outstanding Modern Male Performer, for his performances in FAR and Entity. On 1st December, Alex will star in the world premiere of UNDANCE at Sadler's Wells.

Wayne McGregor has been invited by The Royal Ballet's incoming Director, Kevin O'Hare, to join his Senior Artistic Team. Simon Robey, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Opera House, says that it has been "a rigorous and exhaustive world wide search" for the right artistic leadership. The new team, which includes choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, take over from Dame Monica Mason in July 2012.

Wayne McGregor has been awarded a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for Services to Dance in the New Years Honours List.
