Wayne McGregor and dancers from Wayne McGregor | Random Dance worked with and performed alongside 6 local professionals, 20 GCSE students and 20 A Level/Btec students to create this hour-long futuristic dance performance.

South East Dance commissioned the work to celebrate the organisation's elevation to National Dance Agency status and also the re opening of the Corn Exchange.

The aims of the project were to increase opportunities for local professional dancers to perform with companies of national status and also to extend the educational activities, initiated in the East Brighton Education Action Zone, to include other dance students.

Wayne McGregor | Random Dance worked with the three groups of participants separately over a period of 2 weeks to create original material for the piece. All the performers then came together at the venue to structure the work alongside the musicians.
