Greenwich - 2000

This was a pilot project developed by Wayne McGregor | Random Dance in collaboration with Greenwich Dance Agency and in support of Wayne McGregor | Random Dance's performance of The Trilogy Installation as part of Dance Umbrella 2000

The project involved 3 schools from the London Borough of Greenwich; Blackheath Bluecoats School, Plumstead Manor School and St Ursula's Convent. Each school participated in 5 workshop sessions with Wayne McGregpr | Random Dance where they were taught a warm up and were set creative tasks.

The workshops were supported by a website with notice board, task board lesson plans, photos and company information. As well as participating in the project through the led practical dance sessions the students involved also developed their dance analysis and critical skills through written and practical tasks. INSET sessions were also offered to the participating teacher as part of the project.
The project culminated in all participants attending a live performance of The Trilogy Installation.
