Equator - 2006

The aim of the project was to create a platform for an international, cultural and educational exchange between Larkrise Primary School, Chelmsford, Windmill Springs Elementary School, San Jose together with essexdance's youth dance company FOCUS and Independence High School, San Jose.

Drawing on technology and dance as the centre point of the project, all groups worked with Wayne McGregor | Random Dance using stimulus to create dance pieces to be filmed and edited into podcasts. The project was supported by the [e]quator website which acted as a meeting place for all groups to share their creative work and exchange information.
