Wayne McGregor | Random Dance worked with St Joseph's School, Ipswich, on a project funded by the DFES in partnership with DanceEast. The first phase of the two year project involved four Ipswich schools; St Joseph's College, Beacon Hill School, Stoke High School and Kesgrave High School working with the company over a period of 2 months with both company dancers and remote location teaching devices to create a large scale dance performance that was performed in Crown Street Car Park on 4 and 5 July 2007. Both performances were sold out with 200 people attending each night.

Phase two of the project took place in 2008 and involved the same schools working with Wayne McGregor | Random Dance and also Britten Sinfonia, who will work with participants to create a score for the dance that will be performed live.
