English National Ballet School

The Creative Learning Department continues its association with the school for the second year, leading technique and compositional workshops, choreographing a piece for their graduating students to perform throughout their tour, and in addition - supporting the faculty in an advisory capacity.

Laban Centre Residency

Wayne McGregor | Random Dance's Creative Learning team create an original dance work with third year students at the Laban Centre within a five week residency.

Cuba

Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, in partnership with DanceEast, have been developing a relationship with La Escuela Nacional de La Danza in Havana. Following an initial research visit in 2007, Jasmine Wilson delivered a creative dance residency at the school in 2008 and participated in a knowledge exchange with the school's teachers. As part of the ongoing relationship Kerry Nicholls spent a week at the school in September 2009, creating a new piece of dance with selected students. The students then travelled to the UK to perform the piece at the opening of the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich.
